The Department of Revenue’s Albany Regional Office is moving to a new facility at 735 N. Westover Blvd., Ste. A, Albany, GA 31707. The main phone number will remain (229) 430-4241.

Regional offices perform two important functions: the collection of delinquent taxes and fees, and the provision of general taxpayer assistance. Regional offices are primarily staffed with Revenue Agents which identify and collect liabilities of business taxes and fees which are administered by the Department. The Albany Regional Office serves Baker, Brooks, Calhoun, Clay, Colquitt, Crisp, Decatur, Dougherty, Early, Grady, Lee, Miller, Mitchell, Randolph, Seminole, Sumter, Terrell, Thomas, Tift, Turner, and Worth counties.

The 1105-D West Broad Avenue, Albany, GA 31707 location will cease operations at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2019.

The new location will open for business on Monday, September 9, 2019.  The office will be open for business from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Taxpayers may call any of the Department’s other Regional Offices for assistance Thursday, September 5 and Friday, September 6. Taxpayers needing in-person assistance those days can visit the Columbus or Macon regional offices.
