To more efficiently serve businesses throughout the state during beverage alcohol license renewal season, the Department of Revenue will temporarily suspend issuing temporary permits to new license applicants beginning October 31, 2018.

Applicants will not be eligible for a temporary alcohol permit if the application is submitted between October 31, 2018 and January 1, 2019.

Applicants seeking a temporary beverage alcohol license prior to receiving their annual beverage alcohol license must apply before October 31, 2018.

  • This policy will only apply to individuals and businesses who apply for a new beverage alcohol license after October 31, 2018 and before January 1, 2019.
  • This policy has no effect on applicants who are applying for a renewal or applicants applying for a special event permit.
