On Wednesday, April 19, 2017, Revenue Commissioner Lynne Riley greeted State legislators and local government officials at an open house event for the new location for the Georgia Department of Revenue’s Savannah Regional Office.

Regional offices perform two important functions: the collection of delinquent taxes and fees, and the provision of general taxpayer assistance. Regional offices are primarily staffed with Revenue Agents which identify and collect liabilities of business taxes and fees which are administered by the Department. The Savannah Regional Office serves Bryan, Bulloch, Candler, Chatham, Effingham, Evans, Liberty, Long, McIntosh, and Tattnall counties.

In January, the Department of Revenue’s Savannah Regional Office moved to a new facility located at 1000 Towne Center Blvd., Building 900, Suite A, Pooler, GA 31322.  The new main phone number is (912) 748-5199.

The previous Abercorn location ceased operations on Wednesday, January 11, 2017.

The new location opened for business on January 17, 2016.  The office will be open for business from 8:00 to 4:30 Monday through Friday.
