Georgia Department of Revenue agents have stepped up enforcement in the city of Statesboro.

So far three nights of compliance checks have yielded several citations of local bars including Club 125, Dingus Magees, Rum Runners, Rusty’s Taven, and Shennanigans.

“Our agents will continue enforcement efforts to make sure full compliance of current alcohol laws are met,” said Nick Genesi, Director of Communications.

All bars cited above will face a hearing to determine their punishment with the possibility of their alcohol license being revoked.
