ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Community Health’s (DCH) State Health Benefit Plan (SHBP) is launching a new enrollment and eligibility portal, mySHBPga.adp.com. The new portal will go live on August 1, 2013. The portal’s year-round 24/7 access will more conveniently and efficiently serve all eligible SHBP members.

“We always strive to more effectively serve our customers,” said David A. Cook, commissioner of the Department of Community Health (DCH), which administers the SHBP. “The new 24/7, 365-day-a-year portal will streamline the enrollment process for SHBP members and their employers both during open enrollment and when changes are made because of a life-change event.”

SHBP has contracted with ADP,® a leading provider of human capital management services, for the development of the enrollment portal. In addition, ADP will provide SHBP call center services via ADP’s service center located in Augusta, Ga. Together, the portal and call center will automate many core functions and enhance the overall efficiency of SHBP’s health care administration.
