Summary
Effective for taxable years beginning on or after January 1, 2018, certified entities and eligible businesses that have received certification from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs may claim this tax credit. Standards set by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs must be met. Credits claimed but not used may be carried forward for 10 years. For taxable years beginning on or after January 1, 2025, any credits generated but not used may be carried forward for five years. This credit will be repealed on December 31, 2032.
