Release of Insurance Information

Authorized parties that can obtain insurance information for Salvage Titles are:

• Owner of the vehicle
• Law enforcement officer
• Person authorized to receive the Insurer’s name and the insurance status, under the power of a subpoena approved by the Department’s Legal Services and Tax Policy Division.
