Any person interested in becoming a Private Salvage Vehicle Inspector and/or establishing your place of business as a Private Salvage Vehicle Inspection Location should carefully review the following rules and agreements prior to proceeding with application:

  3. Verification of two or more years in the motor vehicle collision or re-building industry
  4. Used Motor Vehicle Dealer Pre-Licensing Seminar by the Georgia Secretary of State Professional Licensing Board
  5. I-CAR® Platinum IndividualTM Transcript

  7. Completed and signed Download this pdf file. MV-46I Salvage and Assembled Vehicle Inspector Bond
  8. Personal Liability Insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 / $1,000,000 per occurrence

    Please note: If you are employed full time at a DOR registered Salvage or Assembled Vehicle Inspection Location, you are not required to maintain personal liability insurance, however you must provide a letter confirming employment status.
