IRP Employment Lease Agreement Requirements
When vehicles registered with the International Registration Plan (IRP) will not operate under the Applicant’s Safety Authority (USDOT number) an Employment Lease Agreement is required.
Employment Lease Agreement must contain the following:
- First page must include the name of the Applicant and Carrier Responsible for Safety names
- Vehicle information page must include the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), make, model, & unit number of vehicle(s)
- USDOT Number of Carrier Responsible for Safety
- Signature page reflecting both the Applicant and Carrier Responsible for Safety signatures
