Voluntary Film Tax Credit for Productions

Production companies whose Total Estimated Film Tax Credit for each production do NOT meet the minimum credit amount can request a Voluntary Film Tax Credit Audit. These audits will be performed subject to auditor availability. 

Requirements for Voluntary Film Tax Credit

To apply for a voluntary audit please:

• Complete and submit a Voluntary Film Tax Credit Application to the Department
• Provide a copy of the Georgia Department of Economic Development certification letter
