Notice to Submit Return (Letter)
This letter is informing you that a tax return you were responsible for filing was not received by the Department. It is important that you file the missing return(s) as soon as possible.
The letter provides the periods not received.
Your Letter Explains
- The letter confirms you are registered for a sales tax or withholding account and the date you registered.
- It lists the missing returns and provides a deadline for filing them. Remember, you must file a return for each period even if there are no employees or no sales and use activity during that time frame. You can:
- Go to the Georgia Tax Center (GTC) to file and pay any taxes owed by the due date in the letter, or
- If you've already filed and paid, you can upload supporting documents to the Georgia Tax Center (GTC) using the Letter or Submission ID provided in the letter.
