New to Georgia Tax Center
- Go to the Georgia Tax Center
- Click on Sign up for online access select the appropriate option for your account type (public utilities, airlines, railroad equipment, qualified timber properties)
- Provide Account Information or ID found on your Central Assessment Account letter
- Enter Extra Validation information. The Letter ID is found on your Central Assessment Account letter
- Continue through the process until complete

Add Central Assessment to your GTC Profile
- Login to the Georgia Tax Center to add your Central Assessment account to your existing profile
- Select See more links under the "I Want to" section, then select Add access to another account.
- Select the appropriate option for your account type (public utilities, airlines, railroad equipment, qualified timber properties)
- Provide Required Information which is found on your Central Assessment Account letter
- Enter Extra Validation information. Letter ID is found on your Central Assessment Account letter
- Continue through the process until complete

Already have a GTC login?
- Register as a Third Party Filer with a GTC Login (Instructions)
Once registered, log on to GTC and request access to Central Assessment accounts. Then, you can manage your clients’ accounts.

Local Government Entities
- Use the username and temporary password, provided in the Central Assessment email, to login to the Georgia Tax Center.
- Once logged in, you will need to change your password. The temporary password is only valid for 14 days. You may need to reset your password if you are unable to login to your account.
- Login to confirm you have access. You may also grant access to additional team members.
- To grant access to additional local government staff member:
- Login to your GTC account
- Select the settings link
- Select additional logons
- Select the add button
- Enter the required information
- Submit the request
Once registered, use the Georgia Tax Center to electronically:
- Retrieve the Department of Revenue Certifications/Non-Certifications for your county
- Retrieve the Department of Revenue Assessment Notices for your county
- Receive your correspondence
- Submit your adopted equalization ratios
- Use the username and temporary password, provided in the Central Assessment email, to login to the Georgia Tax Center.
