  • What is the response time for online transaction submittal approvals or notifications of further action required?
    For new accounts, three business days. For online submittal, two business days.
  • Updating title information made my IRP registration inactive. How do I make my IRP registration active again?

    Please contact the Commercial Registrations Unit directly at [email protected] and provide IRP account number, vehicle identification number (VIN), and license plate number.

  • I received an “IRP account is locked” error message. What do I do?

    Email [email protected], when you are ready to transfer a plate to a replacement vehicle for the vehicle to be placed on account, or need further instructions for account to be unlocked.

  • I received a “prior supplement open” error message. What do I do?

    Prior supplements remain open if a transaction was started in the past and not completed or cancelled.

  • After payment, how long will it take for me to receive credentials (Cab Cards and/or License Plates) via mail?

    7-14 business days. If time has exceeded 14 business days, please e-mail [email protected] with your IRP account number and valid mailing address.

  • How much will IRP registration or renewal cost?
  • Where on the truck do you attach the IRP apportioned license plate?
    All IRP-apportioned license plates must be placed on the front of the truck in the appropriate license plate slot.
  • What is the process to discontinue IRP registration?
