On this page find information on Senate Bill 103 which requires a registration process for Claimant Designated Representatives (CDR). CDRs (also known as “finders” or “locators”) are organizations that offer to locate unclaimed property for a fee.
Beginning July 1, 2024, all CDR’s providing unclaimed property locator services in Georgia must register with Georgia Department of Revenue. Registered CDRs will have the right to receive access to a searchable/sortable data file of all UCP accounts and submit claims on a claimant’s behalf.
Note: It is always free to search for and claim Unclaimed Property on the DOR website.
