  • Am I eligible?

    HB 1000 provides a surplus tax refund to eligible Georgia taxpayers.

    You may qualify if you:

    • Filed your 2024 and 2025 Georgia individual income tax returns by April 15, 2025
      or by October 15, 2025, if you received an extension
    • Had a tax liability for tax year 2024
    • Were a Georgia resident, part-year resident, or nonresident

    HB 1000 allows for a tax refund out of the State's surplus to Georgia filers who meet eligibility requirements. Depending on your filing status and tax liability, you could receive a maximum of:

    • $500 for Married Filing Joint
