Signature Authority

The Commissioner and his or her designees have exclusive signature authority for the Georgia Department of Revenue.  The Commissioner has delegated signature authority to the Deputy Commissioner(s) of the Department. For certain documents that do not require the expenditure of any funds, the Commissioner may delegate signature authority to other Department personnel in writing. Only individuals with specific delegations of authority may sign documents on behalf of the Department.

 

Non-Disclosure Agreements

To enter into a contract with or provide certain services to the Georgia Department of Revenue, contractors and other third parties may be required to enter into a  Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to protect and govern the exchange of confidential and proprietary information. The Department uses various NDAs depending on the situation and the information being disclosed. Contracting Authority

The Department’s contracts and acquisitions are governed by Title 50 of the Official Code of Georgia and the Department of Administrative Services.
