Income Tax Filing and Payment Deadline is July 15, 2020
Due to COVID-19, DOR automatically extended income tax filing and payment deadlines. Remember to file and pay by Wednesday July 15, 2020.
Withholding tax is the amount held from an employee’s wages and paid directly to the state by the employer. This includes tax withheld from:
- Nonresident distributions
- Lottery winnings
- Pension and annuity payments
- Other sources of income
The withholding tax rate is a graduated scale. For withholding rates on bonuses and other compensation see the Employer’s Tax Guide.
