Railroad Equipment Companies

Your Central Assessment Account letter provides information needed for establishing your companies online access.

Is your Company new to Georgia Tax Center?

1. Go to Georgia Tax Center (GTC)
2. Click on Sign up for online access
3. Select Railroad Equipment for your account type
4. Provide Account Information which is found on your Central Assessment Account letter (Account ID Example: RRE-#######)
5. Enter Extra Validation information.  The Letter ID is found on your Central Assessment Account letter
6. Continue through the process until complete

Does your Company already have Georgia Tax Center access?

1. Login to the Georgia Tax Center to add your Central Assessment account to your existing profile
2. Select “See more links” under “I Want to”, then select the “Add access to another account”
3. Select Railroad Equipment for your account type
4. Provide Required Information which is found on your Central Assessment Account letter (Account ID Example: RRE-#######)
5. Enter Extra Validation information.  Letter ID is found on your Central Assessment Account letter
6. Continue through the process until complete

Starting in 2020

Use the Georgia Tax Center to electronically: 

• File your return
• Submit your payments
  • Would you like to pay with ACH Credit?
• Receive assessments, billing notifications and correspondence

Consulting Companies

• New to GTC?  Register as a Third Party Filer without a GTC Login (Instructions)
• Already have a GTC login?  Register as a Third Party Filer with a GTC Login (Instructions)
• Once registered, log on to GTC and request access to Central Assessment accounts. Then, you can manage your clients’ accounts. Instructions to Add Account to GTC profile.

Starting in 2020, you can use the Georgia Tax Center to electronically file and pay returns for your clients. Would you like to pay with ACH Credit?

Local Government Entities

Starting in 2020

• Use the Georgia Tax Center to electronically retrieve distributions for Railroad Equipment

• Receive Department of Revenue payments electronically for Railroad Equipment disbursements

  • Download and submit your Authorization Agreement for Automatic Deposits
