IRP Scheduled Maintenance

The IRP system will be unavailable beginning at 7 pm on August 22, 2022, through 9 am on August 23, 2022 due to scheduled maintenance.  During the maintenance window, the Motor Vehicle Division will be changing to a new third-party payment processor for e-checks and credit cards.

Once the maintenance is complete, IRP customers can expect the following changes:

1. The IRP application will link to a different website to process your payment.  Instead of the current Official Payments website, you will be automatically directed to the Grant Street payment page. 
2. The description of the charge on your financial statement will read “PMT*GA DOR IRP”.
3. No service fee for payment by e-check; lower fee for credit card payment.
