Georgia Real Estate Commission and Appraisers Board (GREAB) members in the State of Georgia are eligible to attend the Georgia Department of Revenue Certification Program’s approved training courses for continuing education credit.

However, to obtain your appraisal license you must attend the approved training courses as required by the Georgia Real Estate Commission.

Real Estate Appraiser Licensing and Certification Act

Per the Georgia Real Estate Commission and Appraiser's Board at:

The Georgia Real Estate Appraiser's Board administers the Real Estate Appraiser Licensing and Certification Act (Appraisal Act). This act regulates the actions of real estate appraisers in their business dealings with the public. Generally, the act requires appraisers to meet certain standards in order to conduct business and prohibits a wide variety of unfair trade practices.
