The Department of Revenue today announced that the 2017 Alcohol License renewal season begins on September 1, 2016. Due to an error in the Alcohol License Reminder, some license holders believed that the Department began accepting payments on August 2, 2016. The Department cannot process payments for alcohol license renewals until the opening date of September 1, 2016. License holders should not attempt to renew their license prior to the opening September 1 date.

Alcohol Licenses must be posted at the place of business no later than January 1, 2017. License Holders should complete their renewal by November 1, 2016 to ensure that they receive their updated license by January 1, 2017. The final deadline to renew is December 31, 2016.
